1992 
Gallerist Colin De Land and 7 students from Cooper Union founded Art Club 2000 in 1992. Their collaborative projects included muckraking investigations of systems and institutions including the Gap, Ikea, New York real estate, and fashion. The group produced 7 consecutive annual solo shows at American Fine Arts, co, as well as exhibitions in the UK, Belgium, Italy, and France, and a museum retrospective in Mexico City in 2000. Their 1997 limited edition self-published book, SoHo So Long, contains over a dozen illustrated interviews with art luminaries including Leo Castelli, Gary Indiana, Barbara Gladstone, and David Rimanelli.
